How my journey began
When I started studying psychology, nobody quite knew what to do with me! People in the field told me I would move away from the faith by the time I had finished my degree, and people in the faith weren’t sure if “psychology” was actually a trustworthy Biblical concept.
As I delved deeper into my understanding of psychology and continued growing my understanding of God and my faith, I consistently saw a beautiful overlap between the instructions God gives for a life lived in Him, and the strategies science highlighted as most helpful for wellbeing.
I continued to see this overlap as I completed post-graduate studies and in my clinical private practice work. I now have a deep-seated excitement and conviction to share this vital knowledge with others.
On any given day you can find me sharing people’s journeys at a local private psychology practice, helping out in a leadership capacity at my local church, and adventuring with the circle of big and little people I’m blessed to call family.
